Educational concert "Rhythms of the World"
60-minute-interactive show, which purpose is to introduce drums from
various parts of the world (Africa, Cuba, Brasil, Peru, Arabic,..). We also want to show that the rhythm is really in all of us. Starting with the story of "talking drums", going through bodypercussions, folk songs mixed with modern, pupils and students not only see how the music is made, but they are included into the process of making it.
And at the end, they can try the instruments themselves.

Energetic live performance by La3no Cubano was a guarantee of good fun, and therefore it was no wonder that in short time they gained many fans among the students at school. Connecting voices, percussions and emotional sound of violin created great atmosphere. After opening minutes, with eyes closed we flew around the world through hot Africa, wild Peru or sunny Cuba. Thanks to the musicians and their wonderful power of enthusiasm, the sound joined the stream of charming and impressive music. " Maja Jakubová, teacher at ZŠ Karloveská 61, Bratislava |
